Gluten free and vegetarian dishes are available on the menu and on request. Bar service includes the city's most extensive Sake list, even a sparkling variety. In addition, Kanpai's offers select wines, as well as Asian and Lakefront Brewery beer. Specialty drinks are being developed by Kanpai. If they are as distinctive as the restaurant's Signature rolls, they should be very popular. Kanpai is open for lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Thursday and for dinner from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4:30-midnight Friday & Saturday, and 4:30-9 p.m. Sunday.
