January 1, 2013, not only marks a new year, but a new era in health care for the Ozarks. CoxHealth has a new partnership with Skaggs Regional Medical Center in Branson. We are proud to welcome them into the CoxHealth family along with all of you – our friends and neighbors in the Branson Tri-Lakes region. If you live in the Branson area, you will slowly begin to see changes. Initially, much of our attention will be focused upon modernizing facilities, advancing equipment and technology, and integrating staff and adding physicians. We have made other important operational commitments to Cox Medical Center Branson, which are designed to grow services and increase access to care for residents and visitors of the Stone and Taney county area. Our partnership will focus on expanding the level and quality of care we provide in the region. In the future, we expect there to be more health care jobs in Branson. We expect more patients to stay in the local area because there will be more services for them. We are grateful to enter into this partnership with Skaggs and the Branson Tri-Lakes community, and we will be diligent about pursuing our goals to expand care and continuously improve quality to better serve you.
