Custom Rigs Reader Rigs Addictedowner-operator Rob Hale drives to chrome Wynne, Ark.-based this 2001 Peterbilt under his own authority for his company. He says he'll haul for whoever needs something moved and has the money to pay him. The rig's powered by a 550-hp Caterpillar and an 18-speed transmission. Hale added aftermarket mufflers, a bumper and stainless fenders, grille bars and a visor; the interior also is chromed out. "I've got a bad addiction to chrome," he says. "You definitely need your sunglasses with my truck." 'Daddy'sHereford, Texas, owns and operCaddy' Anthony Garcia, of ates this 2002 Peterbilt 379 equipped with a 650hp C15 Cat and 13-speed transmission. Garcia uses the rig to haul for Hereford Grain, mostly food corn to flour mills. J&M Truck and Body Repair of Amarillo, Texas, did the custom paint job, and Garcia added the lights, visor, bumper and all the chrome. He also converted the high-rise sleeper to a flattop and added a window in the back. Garcia's three sons named the truck.
