Made with renewable, plant-based polymers derived from sugar cane, Select Bio closures are 100% recyclable. The Series includes three distinct products, each with different oxygen ingress levels. They are slated for commercial availability as of the 2014 bottling season. New Wine Delivery Service Oeno Vaults of Santa Rosa, Calif., is a new service for wine consumers who make purchases directly from wineries. The company will use temperature-controlled vehicles to pick up wine purchases from wineries in the Napa Valley and Sonoma County, and deliver them to its climate-controlled cellaring facility, where the wine is stored until the customer requests delivery. Scott Labs Expands Offerings Scott Laboratories Inc. of Petaluma, Calif., now offers a range of Oenobrands products in North America, including Claristar, a mannoprotein application for still wine tartrate (KHT) stabilization. Originally marketed in Europe for white and rosé wines, Claristar recently expanded its application to red wines. Sold as a liquid, Claristar can be added directly to wine and homogenizes easily.
