COMPANY NEWS New Napa Office for BPM The accounting and consulting firm Burr Pilger Mayer Inc. (BPM) has opened an office in St. Helena, Calif. The new office enhances the firm's ability to serve its growing client base in Napa Valley. Based in San Francisco, BPM has offices in six Greater Bay Area locations, including Santa Rosa, Walnut Creek, Palo Alto and San Jose. Amcor Flexibles Wins at SIMEI-ENOVITIS The prize for New Technology at the 2013 SIMEIENOVITIS trade fair in Milan, Italy, was awarded to Amcor Flexibles for its Stelvin Inside liners. The aluminum-closure company headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, offers four Stelvin Inside liners, each with a different oxygen transmission rate target. Bacchus Capital Launches BCM Wineworks Bacchus Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, has launched BCM Wineworks, a sales and marketing company representing three of Bacchus' ultra-premium wineries (Sbragia Family Vineyards, DeLille Cellars and Madrigal Family Winery) to wholesalers, restaurants and wine retailers. Bacchus founder Sam Bronfman will serve as chairman, Steve Cousins as president and Jay Soloff as vice president of national sales. Details can be found at www.amcor.com. Santa Rosa, Calif., grapevine nursery Novavine has designed and installed a new greenhouse to keep pace with increasing demand for grafted vines. Its grafted grapevine sales have doubled since 2010.
