Greenberg enlists surgeons and surgical teams to videotape themselves in the operating room, then review their performance with a trained surgical coach to identify areas for improvement, an effort to increase surgical quality and safety that's garnered her national attention. To help prepare the coaches, Greenberg's team interviewed UW basketball coach Bo Ryan and other trainers to learn how successful coaches improve performance.
