Hustler Zeon Hustler Turf Equipment introduced the world’s first all-electric zero-turning-radius riding lawnmower in the Hustler Zeon. The Zeon offers nearly zero maintenance with no belts, filters, fluids, pulleys or plugs — just unplug and mow for up to 80 minutes. It is very clean, neat, quiet and inexpensive to operate. Features include a high blade-tip speed for a beautiful quality of cut, a welded steel deck and tubular frame (not stamped), dual electric transmissions for true zero-degree turning maneuverability, silky-smooth SmoothTrak steering with patented automatic park brake system, and a 48-volt, 42-inch side-discharge mulching deck. The Zeon carries a 3-year residential or 1-year commercial, limited warranty on parts and labor. Battery warranty is pro-rated. Hustler Turf Equipment Scag Dual-Fuel Turf Tiger The Scag Turf Tiger offers a high-powered Kubota engine that allows the machine to run on gasoline or liquid propane (LP). The Dual-Fuel Turf Tiger’s flexibility allows it to be switched from one fuel source to another with the flip of a switch, even while mow- ing. An optional conversion kit will equip the machine to run on propane only in order to conform to applicable local regulations. Like all Turf Tiger models, this mower features a strong double-tube steel frame, big engine power (31-hp. gas or 29-hp. LP), and the quality cutting performance of the shaft-driven Velocity Plus cutter deck. Scag Power Equipment Snapper Pro S200xp The Snapper Pro S200xp propane-powered zero-turn mower offers automotive-like starting with no need for a choke. Touting a dedicated propane engine, not a converted gasoline engine, the S200xp boasts a Briggs & Stratton 895-cc Vanguard Big Block. The engine is specially designed with vapor-draw fuel tanks to ensure consistent and hassle-free operation. The drive system is a dual-path hydrostatic system that provides smooth, reliable operation. Each drive wheel is independently powered by a Hydro- Gear ZT-5400 powertrain. The mower deck is a 61-inch iCD Cutting System, featuring cast-iron greaseable spindles for longer life. An easy-to-use deck lift takes the effort out of adjusting the cutting height (1.5 to 5 inches in .25-inch increments). Snapper Pro, a Briggs & Stratton Products Group brand Snapper Pro, a Briggs & Stratton Products Group brand Toro Z Master G3 propane-powered mowers Toro offers propane-powered Z Master G3 zero-turn mowers with cleaner-burning fuels that can reduce engine maintenance cost and extend engine life. Engineered with a 29-hp.* Kawasaki engine, these machines offer ground speeds up to 11.5 mph. Their single propane tank holds 43.5 pounds of liquid propane mounted behind the seat, allowing for better deck and drive tire visibility. Plus, these mowers are available with a 60- or 72-inch Toro Turbo Force cutting deck. (*The gross horsepower of the engine was laboratory rated by the engine manufacturer in accordance with SAE J1940. As configured to safety, emission and operating requirements, the actual engine horsepower on this class of mower will be significantly lower.) The Toro Co. Toro e-Cycler electric mower The Toro e-Cycler electric mower allows homeowners to go green without sacrificing power and performance. It’s designed to pro- vide superior mulching performance and the convenience of an electric mower. Weighing just 77 pounds and easy to use, the e- Cycler is built to the same performance standards as Toro’s most popular Recycler Series mowers. Its 4-inch, deep-domed steel deck makes this machine an excellent mulcher; grass clippings stay under the deck longer, allowing them to be cut and re-cut for a just-bagged look. The e-Cycler is a convenient choice for homeowners with typical urban-sized yards. The powerful 36-volt cord- less, rechargeable mower can take on a 7,500- to 10,000-square-foot lawn, under normal mowing conditions, in 1 charge. The Toro Co. 2011 WORX IntelliCut mowers WORX bridges the gap between gas- and battery-powered lawn mowers with a new technology called IntelliCut. IntelliCut is a torque-on-demand system that won’t bog down in tough mowing conditions. The 2011 WORX IntelliCut lineup consists of 4 mowers, including 2 push 24-volt models (WG782, 14-inch deck, nicknamed “Lil’ Mo”) and (WG787, 17-inch deck), as well as a pair of 36-volt models with 19-inch decks — a push unit (WG788) and a self-propelled unit (WG789) with Pacesetter technology, which automatically adjusts the mower’s speed to the user’s pace. WORX Wright Stander mowers Wright Stander mowers combine technology and design to help LCOs reduce their carbon footprint without making major opera- tional changes. Wright Standers exceed EPA 2011 evaporative emissions regulations and meet CARB 2011 evaporative emis- sions regulations while still using gasoline engines. This reduces the operator’s carbon footprint without having to manage multiple fuel sources. The Stander’s design makes it more productive and efficient than traditional zero-turn mowers. The mower is compact and the operator vantage point is high, making the mower extremely maneuverable. It can mow close to sidewalks, driveways, flowerbeds and other obstructions, reducing the need for trim mowers and 2-cycle string trimmers. It can also mow hillsides that are difficult for other riding mowers. Wright Mfg. For more information on these products, please visit www.greenmediaonline.com/productportal.
