But just two months later, "I was missing the road and started looking for another truck," says Brees, who in August 2011 found this 2005 Kenworth W900L powered by a 550-hp Caterpillar C15 and an 18-speed transmission. He leased to Landstar with the rig on a dedicated run haul- ing Navistar engines from Huntsville, Ala., to Springfield, Ohio, and back. Brees later retired again in October 2012 and sold the rig, ending 51 years of trucking. The day after retiring, he had a heart attack, but "after seven days in the hospital and five months of laying around, I passed my DOT physical, just in case I get the urge to drive again." Original and proud Roger Oliver of Fernandina Beach, Fla., hauls general com- modities "with a strong influence in military freight" with his 2002 W900L Kenworth that he says he's "very proud to keep factory original." Oliver is shown making a delivery to the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier with the truck, which is powered by a 550-hp Caterpillar and a 13-speed transmission.
