Following an asset purchase last year by SnapTight Aluminum, the company is now operating as Swedge- Lock Aluminum Fences & Railing and offering the SwedgeLock products. The president of SwedgeLock, BOLLARD COVERS TOOLS PRIVACY SCREEN WWW.NMIFENCE.COM Ron Allen, purchased the assets, name and patent in April 2010 and reports that the firm is now in full production. He has also launched a new web site to showcase the company and its prod- ucts. Visit www.swedgelock.com. "The key to the new SwedgeLock is going to be customer service, which has been lacking since the death in 2001 of one of the original founders, Vern Haglund," said Allen. "We will not take on any new dealers until we are sure we can provide the ultimate customer service. Since we custom build every job, it is very important to keep lead times to a minimum, and two to three weeks will be standard." SwedgeLock personnel include: Ron Allen, president; Mitch Allen, customer service manager; Leonard Inman, welding manager; Carroll She- lar, production manager; and Billy Re- towski, install manager. Allen was a SwedgeLock dealer from 1995 until 2003 with his and his work ethic was unmatched. We are all blessed to have known, learned from and worked alongside Mark. His ideals will continue to guide the I.C.E. team as we build on his legacy in the years to come." Mr. Zito was a long-time member and supporter of the Michigan Chap- ter of the American Fence Association, and the association said in a statement, "The Michigan Chapter is sad at the passing of Mark. He was a loyal mem- ber of the chapter and was always there to help with our functions. He will be missed by all our members and by the Michigan area fencers."
