MTP Cables
We supply a variety of MTP cables for multi-fiber cabling requirements. The
round cables feature USConec connectors, plenum jacketing and Corning fiber.
The standard and bend insensitive cables have MTP/female connectors that
offer standard loss and standard Method A, straight through, key up/key down
polarity. They are available in three cable lengths – 3 m, 5 m and 10 m. The
standard cable is 12-core OM3 multimode cable. The bend insensitive cables are
available in 12-core singlemode cable and 24-core OM3 multimode cable.
The MTP fan-out cables are ideal for connection to patch panels and data dis-
tribution routing. These cables are available in 8-core, 12-core and 24-core fiber
counts and have a fan-out length of 24". They are made of OM3 multimode cable
and have MTP/female - LC connectors. The 8-core fan-out cable comes in 5 m
and 10 m lengths. The 12-core fan-out cable is available in all three lengths – 3 m,
5 m, and 10 m. The 24-core fan-out cable come in 3 m and 5 m lengths.

FUSEConnect
®
MPO Connectors
FUSEConnect MPO fusion-spliced, field-terminated connectors eliminate polishing, adhesives and crimping in the field. Made up of just six
components, they utilize either ribbon or loose tube cable. A 60R or 70R fusion splicer kit and MPO Termination kit is required for termination.
The singlemode connectors have 0.25 dB insertion loss, 0.75 dB maximum insertion loss and a return loss of >65 dB. Multimode connec-
tors, available in OM1, OM2 and OM3, have 0.10 dB insertion loss, 0.35 dB maximum insertion loss and a return loss of >30 dB. Each package
includes 3.0 mm round and 250 µm ribbon fiber flat boots. Connectors are TIA-568-C.3, IEC-61754-7 and TIA/EIA-604-5 FOCIS 5 compliant.

MPO Termination Tool Kit
The FUSEConnect MPO termination tool kit contains all the necessary acces-
sories required for field termination of the FUSEConnect MPO splice-on connec-
tors. Use it for connectorization in RF-overlay FTTP networks, cable TV backbone
networks, outside plant and MDU FTTP cabling, as well as for data center installa-
tions plus connector restoration and patch cord customization in the field.
The kit includes a ribbonize tool that strips ribbon fiber cable, a stripping tool
that strips 3.0 mm, 2.8 mm, 2.0 mm and 1.6 mm round cable, and a MPO as-
sembly tool. Each component is also available separately.
