an audible click that delivers consistent and effective cleaning results to the fiber
endface. They automatically advance to ensure fresh cleaning tape for each use.
Also known as fiber cleaning pens, they house a cloth made of optical grade
cleaning fibers which are highly effective at removing oils and dust contaminants.
Their hard cases and caps prevent contamination, and on many models the dust
caps serve as adapters for cleaning unmated connectors and cable assemblies.

This MPO and MTP mechanical cleaning tool is designed for cleaning fiber
arrays in a bulkhead, card edge, backplane or unmated cable assembly. It will
clean both female and male MT ferrules as well as both flat polished multimode
and 8° angled singlemode MT ferrules.
The tool features push-action operation, a nozzle that is keyed for precise
alignment of the cleaning tip to the fiber array, and an alignment cap lid which
opens for cleaning the unmated connectors. Each connector cleaner delivers
more than 525 cleanings.
