M710 Series OTDRs
The M710 series are compact, full-featured OTDRs
with an integrated visual fault locator (VFL), an opti-
cal power meter (OPM) capable of displaying up to
three wavelengths simultaneously, and a large 6

transflective touch-screen display suitable for both indoor
and outdoor operation. They combine TruEvent Technology
event analysis with the easy to use Touch and Test
™
intuitive
user interface. They're perfect for testing and troubleshooting
LAN/WAN, metro FTTx and long haul networks.
M710 OTDRs support real-time, full-auto, expert (manual)
test modes plus precision event analysis, multiple wavelength
testing and Pass/Fail analysis. Store thousands of OTDR
and OPM test results internally or on a USB drive. Units will
display saved OPM loss values in one or two directions in a
table for evaluation. Transfer data via a USB to a computer
for viewing, printing and analyzing with supplied TRM
™
2.0
TIA/ISO compliant certification reporting software.
The M710 comes in three singlemode versions and a long
range QUAD model.

M210 Series
Multifunction Micro OTDRs
The M210 with integrated OPM features the
intuitive Touch and Test
™
user interface with
one-touch access to Full-Auto, Expert and Real-
Time OTDR modes, OPM mode, plus Results
Management and Job Creation menus. It has an
integrated VFL, a powerful processing engine, a
high resolution display, plus Pass/Fail thresholds
that can be set to industry standard TIA/ISO
or user-values. All M210 models support fiber
end-face visual inspection using the DFS1 Digital
FiberScope.
The M210 series OTDR is available in single-
mode, multimode and QUAD versions packaged
in either a soft or hard case. The QUAD OTDR
also comes in two kits, a Test and Inspection Kit
and a Certification Kit.

M310 Series
Enterprise OTDRs
The M310 is designed for enterprise net-
work testing, troubleshooting and documen-
tation. It accurately locates and measures
the closely spaced events on high speed
networks and automatically detects and
measures all events in each cable. The M310
provides accurate and reliable event analysis
of these critical networks and includes
Test Results Manager TRM
®
2.0 reporting
software.
The M310 features a Touch and Test
™
user
interface for easy and accurate testing and
documenting plus an integrated optical light
source, power meter and VFL. Using pre-set
industry ISO/TIA standards or user set pass/
fail thresholds, users are alerted to installation
problems and failures.
M310 supports end-face visual inspection using a DFS1 digital fiber scope.

APC. The M310 comes in singlemode and QUAD versions in a soft case.
