CT-30 series cleav-
ers are portable, reliable
and compatible with all AFL
fusion splicers. Each high-pre-
cision tool has a 16-position blade. Choose from ribbon splicing and single-fiber
models that are ideal for FTTx applications.
Use the CT-30 on fiber ribbons with up to 12 fibers. The 16-position blade
yields 4000 12-fiber ribbon cleaves. The CT-30A is supplied with an AD-30A
adapter plate as its fiber handling system. It yields 48,000 single-fiber cleaves on
fibers with 250- to 900-µm coating and 125-µm cladding. Cleave length is 10 mm
to 20 mm for 900-µm single fibers and 6 mm to 20 mm for 250-µm fibers. A built-
in scrap collector stores fiber shards until they can be discarded safely.

CT-30A
CT06/06A Cleavers
Dedicated for single fiber cleaving, these cleavers are best suited for the
installation of field installable connectors and mechanical splices. The long-life,
16-position circular blade performs cleaving operation in one step. Use these
cleavers to perform single-fiber cleaves on fibers with 250- to 900-µm coating
and 125-µm cladding. The CT-06's cleave length is 10 mm. CT-06A comes with
an AD-10 adapter plate and gives a cleave length of 5 mm to 20 mm for 250-µm
single fibers and 8 mm to 20 mm for 900-µm fibers. Both come with a scrap col-
lector, hex wrench and case.

Hot Jacket Stripper
When used in conjunction
with any 12 fiber ribbon splicer,
the hot jacket stripper can strip
up to 12 fibers simultaneously in
less than 5 seconds. The HJS-02
is designed to conserve power
so is powered by the splicer whether it's operating on ac power or batteries. A
temperature selection switch provides easy optimization in the field for different
fibers or operating conditions.
To strip one fiber at a time, order the optional SAD-01 single fiber adapter. It
provides easy single-fiber capability for high-strength splicing applications or for
difficult-to-strip fibers.

Portable Tripod
Workstation Kit
This tripod kit offers both a sturdy work tray to
support a splicer, cleaver and accessories plus
a tripod to support the work tray. The work tray
holds up to 11 pounds and features a unique
cleaver mounting system. The arm pivots and
swings the cleaver into and out of the workspace.
The base has four positions to select from.
Kit is compatible with the 19R, 19S, 70R and
70S cleavers. The tripod's individually telescoping
legs adjust from 13" to 61", the leg angle increases
for uneven surfaces and it collapses to two feet.
