SPC35 Comprehensive Fiber Optic Installer Kits
The SPC35 series kits are specially designed to offer a versatile complement of
tools and supplies that meet the many requirements of field installers. Every item
is carefully chosen for universal applications. A few of the featured items include
lint-free 5.75" x 5.75" wipes, Kevlar cutter, fiber optic stripper for removing 250
µm buffer coating on 125 µm optical fiber, 200X fiber inspection microscope for
coaxial and oblique applications and a Cletop ferrule cleaner.
The tools come organized in a roto-rugged case. The robust black polyethyl-
ene case features beefed-up construction, extra-large corners, steel spring-load-
ed handles and quarter-turn latches. The standard 25-pound SPC35R measures
17.75" x 14.5" x 6" (I.D.). At 26 pounds, the deep SPC35RD is 17.75" x 14.5" x
9" (I.D.). The 26-pound SPC35C measures 18" x 14.75" x 8" (I.D.) and features an
integral luggage cart, low-profile rubber wheels and recessed handle.

SPC870 Basic Fiber Installer Kit
Our basic fiber installer kit in cludes a comprehensive collection of essentials
for fi ber optic cable installation, maintenance and termination. Remove sheaths,
cut strength members, strip cable and install equipment with just one kit. Some
items include a cable splicer's kit with a splicer's knife and steel multi-purpose
scissors, a plastic Twistlock
™
pump bottle, Fiber Clean connector cleaner, 6.5"
Kevlar shears and silicone adhesive/sealant for resealing splice closures. The kit's
strippers are for singlemode 125 µm cladding with coating/buffer up to 250 mm.
All the tools and supplies listed below come organized on two removable pal-
lets in a high-density black polyethylene tool case with extra-deep exterior ridges
and protruding bumpers. The 17.75" x 14.5" x 9" (I.D.) case includes chrome
keyed latches, combination lock, piano hinge, lid stays and padded handle.

SPC912 Optical Fiber Preparation Kit
The SPC912 supplies fiber technicians with the basic items needed
to prepare, clean and maintain fiber optic connections. The kit has ba-
sic tools like a screwdriver, ruler and pliers, plus speciality fiber cabling
tools including a 3-hole fiber optic stripper and Kevlar
®
cutters. It also
has fiber cleaning fluid, wipes and swabs for cleaning in the field.
Tools are organized in the 1161 CLC BigMouth tool bag with
23 pockets. The bag is made of 600 denier fabric with reinforced
interior bottom panels and heavy-duty stitching for durability. Sev-
enteen pockets inside the bag and six pockets outside give plenty
of space for other tools and supplies needed at a job site. The 16" x
9" x 12" bag opens wide for easy access and has web carry handles.
