First-Time Attendee/New Member Coffee and Orientation Tuesday, December 15 Wednesday, December 16 7–7:45 a.m. Enjoy a cup of coffee before you start your day at the Expo. Meet other first-time attendees and new NGWA members. NGWA staff will present a short five-minute presentation on what you can expect at the Expo, provide as- sistance on downloading the Expo app and making your way around the show, highlight some of the can't-miss ses- sions, and be on hand to answer any questions. MGWC Luncheon Tuesday, December 15 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The Master Groundwater Contractors Luncheon is an ideal way for MGWCs to visit with old friends as well as greet the newest entrants into the ranks of the green jackets. (This is open only to MGWCs and their spouses. Ticket required. The per person cost on or before November 15 is $35; the cost thereafter is $55.) Next Gen Groundwater Professionals Meetup Tuesday, December 15 4–5:15 p.m. Students and young professionals are invited to share their experiences on get- ting started in the groundwater industry with new friends. NGWA staff will also be on hand to answer any questions on how the Association can help young people grow and get ahead in their chosen field. Attendee Welcome Reception Tuesday, December 15 5:30–7 p.m. Meet up with old friends and make new ones during this annual crowd- pleaser. Opening Session and Awards Presentations Wednesday, December 16 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Join Ryan Hreljac, founder and as- sistant project manager of Ryan's Well Foundation, as he presents the H2O Talk, "Thinking Big at the Age of Six—How One of Tomorrow's Lead- ers Is Changing the World Today." Find out how the dream of a 6-year- old boy turned into a 15-year-old regis- tered charity that brings life-enhancing safe water, sanitation, and hygiene education to those around the world. The event will also let you welcome and congratulate the winners of this year's NGWA awards that spotlight the best and the brightest in the ground- water industry. Winners are recognized for outstanding contributions through service, innovation, research, safety, and outstanding projects of scientific and technological importance. Affiliate States Peer to Peer Meeting Wednesday, December 16 3–5 p.m. The annual meeting of Affiliate State executives and officers, this open forum is a great place to discuss issues facing your state and provides the opportunity to receive feedback from fellow associa- tion leaders on how they have managed similar situations. In addition, there will be several short presentations with information on topics to increase your association's overall success. (Open to Affiliate State executives and officers. Advance registration is required.) Exhibit Hall The Exhibit Hall will be packed with the latest products from the groundwater industry's manufacturers and suppliers on thousands of feet of exhibit space. Make sure to leave plenty of time to be in the hall during the 12 hours it is open. Exhibit Hall hours: ● Wednesday, December 16 12–6 p.m. ● Thursday, December 17 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Before you head to the hall, make sure to get your Expo attendee badge and grab a program and bag for all your take-home materials. You can get both at the on-site registration and welcome area. The cost of registration includes round-trip transportation, pizza, soda, games, shoes, and bowling ball—everything needed for a great night out! The prof- its will go directly to the Foundation to support its mission. (Ticket required, cost is $30)
