Kirsch will integrate MacroPoint with McLeod Software's PowerBroker freight brokerage operations management system. • EpicVue, a provider of in-cab satellite TV systems for the trucking industry, an - nounced that Interide Transport reported a 23 percent improvement in driver retention and $36,000 in annual savings by equipping its entire fleet with satellite TV systems. Now installed in all of the carrier's vehicles, EpicVue says it is generating a payback on the investment in lower recruiting costs of about four months per truck. • SmartDrive Systems, a provider of video-based driver performance systems designed to reduce collisions and improve fuel efficiency, announced that Flagger Force, a work zone safety company, has reduced its incident damage costs per mile by 33 percent as a result of implementing SmartDrive for both new hires and existing drivers. Flagger Force specializes in short-term traffic control services with 1,400 field employees and a fleet of 775 vehicles. • Omnitracs announced the breakout track and session lineup for its annual user conference – Omnitracs Outlook 2016: In - novation for the Road Ahead – set for Jan. 31-Feb. 3 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. The sessions follow six tracks that under- score Omnitracs' technology and services areas: compliance, safety and security, productivity, planning and delivery, data and analytics, and innovations.
