The wheel covers are designed to reduce aerodynamic turbulence and drag by streamlining airflow over the tractor's drive wheels. The chassis routings run the length of the truck and organize the air, electrical and fuel lines into individual bundles to help facilitate quick, efficient identification and servicing of the systems. The routings are secured with newly designed frame brackets that hold each bundle separately and help provide added durability. – JASON CANNON MERITOR LAUNCHES FRONT STEER AXLE MERITOR'S MFS+ lightweight front steer axle is 85 pounds lighter thanks to a new gooseneck beam design and an offset knuckle with an integrated torque plate and tie-rod arms. The new design simplifies integration into the chassis and offers high-angle turning capacity of up to 55 degrees as well as universal compat - ibility with braking systems.
