We think our warranty will outlast the UTV." Heading into the rest of 2016, S&B Filters aims to make a Particle Separator to fit a variety of UTVs and looks to add to its dealer net- work. "The Particle Separator is our key. We're focused on making sure that it can fit all the various applications, from Wildcat to Ranger and all the model years," Carter said. "We're definitely focused on that, so we can make sure that we cover all models, but we're also going to be offering air filtration as well as intake kits for the UTV marketplace." S&B Filters has its own distribution facili- ties in Kentucky, Texas and Canada. "We do that in order to get product to our dealers quicker, and at a lower cost," Carter added. "This product is important to dealers because they want happy customers, and if you've got customers coming back with damaged engines because of dust ingestion, that's not a happy customer," he said. S&B Filters goes the extra mile to not only take care of its customers, but also its dealers. "In the automotive industry, we have one of the best unilateral pricing policies in the industry. We're respected for that, and we're bringing that same thing to the powersports market," said Carter. "The bottom line is our dealers can make their full margins — we think it's absolutely critical." PSB Yamaha OAI grants, as well as the hands-on loyalty from our passionate employees." Yamaha volunteers have participated in eight restoration projects within the San Ber- nardino National Forest. Past work includes projects in and around the Pinnacles, Cactus Flats, Big Pine Flats and Coxey Meadows areas, planting more than 4,000 native seed- lings and restoring and maintaining the OHV trails and trailheads. "Yamaha is a valued partner of the Southern California Mountains Foundation, helping to support our OHV program and many of the 2.4 million visitors who come to enjoy the mountains each year," said Stacy Gorin, South- ern California Mountains Foundation execu- tive officer. "In all their years of support for the program, Yamaha volunteers made a posi- tive, significant impact on the San Bernardino National Forest, completing projects from the Big Bear area to across the mountains at the Summit Staging Area." GIE+EXPO is the largest trade show for the outdoor power equipment, lawn and garden equipment, light construction and landscape industries. Because UTVs are capable of enhancing prospects for busi- nesses in those industries, it was a natural fit for Powersports Business to provide UTV dealer training through GIE+EXPO. The UTV education sessions will be held the first day of the show, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. UTV University will have a trade focus and will feature classroom-based ses- sions conducted by recognized powersports industry experts. "Nearly two out of three UTV buyers acces- sorize their units, and one in three buys the UTV with accessories pre-installed, so there is profit to be made by showcasing and upselling accessories with the sale of UTVs," Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) president Kris Kiser said. "Even better for UTV dealers, 40 percent of UTV buyers purchase their acces- sories from UTV dealers. GIE+EXPO is the natural home for this growing market." "We're thrilled to partner with GIE+EXPO and bring UTV dealers the type of profit-build- ing educational seminars that Powersports Business has become known for," said David Voll, EPG Media LLC, VP of Powersports/ Green Division. Powersports Business editor in chief Dave McMahon, who has formed the speaker lineup and managed dealer educational seminars for the past four years for Powersports Business, added, "The UTV category continues to grow, and we're expecting more of the same in 2016. Knowing that consumers on average purchase more than $1,700 in accessories on UTVs, we're eager to present a lineup that will help dealers target the UTV buyer." With more than 400,000 UTVs sold in North America in 2015 and more growth on the horizon, UTV dealers have an abun- dance of current and prospective customers. Powersports Business once again will provide a seminar lineup that will provide dealers with insight into how to do business with those customers.
