Castrol gear oils have excellent demulsibility to effectively separate water from oil for easy removal from the system. Residual water is not a problem, since Castrol gear lubricants maintain their perform ance in up to 1% water‑contaminated oil. C L E A N PA R T S Particulate matter can also contaminate gear oils and cause accelerated wear or deposit buildup. The detergent/dispersant properties of Castrol gear lubricants keep parts cleaner by keeping particulates suspended in the fluid until they can be removed when the oil is changed. As a result, parts stay cleaner even during extended service intervals.
