Terms were not disclosed. • Safe Fleet, a provider of integrated solutions designed to increase functionality for fleet vehicle manufacturers and operators, acquired FleetMind Solutions Inc., a provider of smart truck solutions for waste and recycling fleets. FleetMind's offerings include onboard computing systems that link driv - ers and vehicles to business operations in real time to help improve safety, productivity, sustainability and customer service. • Fleetio launched Fleetio Go, a mobile app that interfaces with its fleet management software system and is designed to allow fleet managers, drivers, mechanics and other personnel to instant - ly update information and access fleet data. Drivers can use the app to perform vehicle inspections, report issues and log fuel from a smartphone or tablet. Users also can stay on top of vehicle main - tenance by viewing reminders and history and sending details through photos and documents. • AssetWorks, a provider of fleet management software, has created an Electronic Logging Device Mandate Resource Center for up-to-date informa - tion regarding the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's final rule to require ELDs. The resource center is designed to help users make an educated decision on ELDs. Located in the same corporate center as ARI's global headquar - ters, the new center is home to the company's 200-member information technology team. • ShipX, an online freight exchange, rebranded itself as FreightorGator and rolled out a new logo and redesigned website at FreightorGator.com. The company said the rebranding better reflects its character and mission to save less-than-truck - load shippers time and money through modern technology. After a customer enters a shipment's size, weight, origin and destination, FreightorGator aggregates rate results from more than 25 LTL carriers for the customer to compare and book. • LinkeDrive announced a partnership with TravelCenters of America, operator of TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel centers, to train TA Truck Service technicians on installing and servicing its PedalCoach fuel-saving mobile application that provides real-time adaptive feedback and awards points to drivers for fuel efficiency and safety. TMW Systems takes BI tools to the cloud T MW Systems rolled out Software-as-a-Service versions of its business intel- ligence applications for commercial and private fleets, third-party logistics providers and other transportation enterprises. The new cloud-based versions of TMW Data Warehouse, Data Warehouse Explorer and Visual Analytics are available on a subscription basis to busi- nesses using select TMW transportation management software systems and will be available to new customers in the coming months. Previously available only as on-premise solutions, TMW Data Warehouse and Data Warehouse Explorer are designed to access operational data from various sources and answer questions for virtually any area of business. Users can blend and analyze data from multiple areas – operations, maintenance, finance, mobile communications and more. TMW's Visual Analytics is designed to allow for drag-and-drop creation of visuals and dashboards of many interdependent factors that drive business performance. Users can drill down to isolate specific issues and identify cor- rective actions. "Big data can help virtually any transportation business identify and eliminate deeply hidden operational constraints and other issues," said David Wangler, TMW Systems president. "Our new and growing portfolio of SaaS products brings these capabilities to a much larger audience of transportation businesses, including those that might not have the internal IT resources or budget to support an on-premise model." – Aaron Huff Rand McNally launches dashcam line R and McNally is entering the dashcam business with its own line of devices. The Rand McNally Dash Cam 100, 200 and 300 models are designed to assist with accident and safety documentation, as well as capture photos and video from the road. "In these new dash cameras, we have included features like time-lapse photography so that drivers can record a beautiful sunset as well as a sudden traffic incident," said Stephen Fletcher, chief executive officer of Rand McNally. The cameras feature a "G" sensor designed to detect sudden or significant movement, such as a collision, and save the video file. All videos and photos include a time and date stamp, and the 200 and 300 models also include a location stamp. The 100 model has a 1-inch screen with a 4GB SD card, while the 200 mod- el has a 1½-inch screen with an 8GB SD card.
