The Snow-Gate allows drivers to get up next to the curb, and is engineered to fit the contour of the moldboard. It requires hydraulic function to operate a 3-inch x 10-inch, 1 ¾-inch, double-acting hydraulic cylinder. Dimensions are approximately 55 inches long x 48 inches tall. It also features a floating "road contact strip" with continuous spring down-pressure. HINIKER C-PLOW The C-Plow from Hiniker Company combines the functions of conventional plowing and backdrag plowing systems into a single innovative design. The C-Plow is operated as a conventional plow in the forward plowing mode, with the normal hydraulic angling and spring-trip moldboard functions. For backdragging, the upper 3/4 of the high-density polyethylene moldboard is hydraulically folded over, creating a rear-facing backdrag blade. A second cutting edge fastened to the top of the moldboard becomes the contact point with the ground surface. Additionally, the Hiniker C-Plow features a high-clearance split trip-edge. Each half of the trip-edge works independently of the other, reducing stress on the plow in forward mode. The C-Plow is available in 8 foot and 9 foot widths. All Hiniker plows employ the Hiniker Quick-Hitch system, a drive-in mounting system that provides easy one-lever attachment of the plow to the truck. HUSQVARNA ST 227P Husqvarna ST 227P is a 2-stage snow blower designed for smooth operation on any surface, thanks to adjustable skid shoes, power steering and a friction-disc transmission system. The blower has a working width of 27 inches and an 8.5-hp. engine. Its high performance is complemented by a user-friendly interface that features heated handles with adjustable height settings, LED headlights, and an electric starter that works in all weather conditions. JACOBSEN ROTARY MOWERS OFFER YEAR-ROUND USE Several Jacobsen large-area rotary mowers have the capability for snow removal and year-round use. Jacobsen's TurfCat out-front rotary mower is a multi-purpose machine that offers several snow removal attachments, including a dozer blade and a snow blower. The dozer blade comes in a 60- or 72-inch width and offers manually adjustable angles of 15 degrees or 30 degrees left/right from center. The attachment is a bolt-on, reversible, hardened cutting edge and is spring loaded to break away over small obstacles.
