The QuickCat line also includes 48-, 52- and 61-inch DuraDeck cutting deck options. The addition of the QuickCat 36-inch model gives commercial lawn care professionals the ability to mow smaller properties and navigate in tighter spaces. The new model features a "quick" 7-mph mowing speed and 9-mph transport speed, exclusive Zero-T drive tires for a smooth ride and sure traction, and a true floating deck that improves cut quality and maintenance. It all leads to more control and more profitability for turf care professionals. And like the entire QuickCat line, the 36-inch model is backed by a 6-year/2,000-hour Mow with Confidence limited warranty. Bob-Cat/Schiller Grounds Care, Inc. Exmark 60-inch Vantage S-Series Propane stand-on rider Exmark has added a 60-inch version of its Vantage S-Series Propane stand-on rider for 2016. The machine's Kohler Command Pro PCV740 V-Twin EFI propane powerplant delivers increased fuel economy and performance combined with reduced emissions, making the Vantage S-Series Propane one of the most environmentally friendly commercial stand-on mowers available. The automotive-style closed-loop electronic fuel injection eliminates carburetor-related issues for optimized performance in any conditions, with car-like ease of starting. The UltraCut Series 4 cutting deck boasts patented flow-control baffles for increased cut quality. Heavy-duty welded construction and 7-gauge reinforcements ensure strength and durability. Maintenance-reducing features include sealed, no-maintenance spindles, as well as patented spherical bearing idler arm pivots. Exmark Mfg. Gravely Pro-Stance The Gravely Pro-Stance is a versatile machine that acts as either a stand-on or walk-behind mower, depending on the operator's preference. When standing upright, the operator has total control, with the ability to maneuver quickly and dismount easily. To reduce fatigue and increase operator comfort, the isolated suspension platform can be flipped up, converting the stand- on machine into a walk-behind unit. The 2016 Pro-Stance features improved operator presence controls with larger-diameter handles and forward and reverse index bars. A unique deck transport lock-out can be engaged, disengaged, or released from the operator position. Built for operator comfort, the Pro-Stance features a large operator pad, foot pedal deck lift, and foot pedal height adjustment to help reduce fatigue during all-day jobs. The industry's largest semi-pneumatic front tires eliminate downtime for flat tire repair, and the strong front caster forks add durability. The Pro-Stance is offered with a 36-, 48-, 52- or 60-inch deck and a Kawasaki or Kohler EFI engine. Gravely, an Ariens Co. Hustler Super S The Hustler Super S is a long-anticipated stand-on mower. Available in 4 deck sizes, it features a tough frame and deck, outstanding operator comfort with ergonomic controls, and Hustler's signature SmoothTrak steering. The compact stance of the patent-pending Super S makes it ideal for tight spaces and trailering. The Super S offers more range and flexibility with a 1.5-inch to 5.5-inch cut height and boasts a 9-mph ground speed. A mulch kit, side grass catcher, and light kit are available. Hustler Turf Equipment/Excel Industries Jacobsen's SZT Pro Series Jacobsen's SZT Pro Series stand-on mower packs power in a small footprint with a heavy-duty 26-hp. Vanguard engine to mow up to 3.7 acres per hour. Available in 48- and 54-inch deck widths, the SZT Pro can maneuver in tight areas and takes up less trailer space than a traditional riding mower. The deep deck design can easily handle large volumes of grass without slowing the operator down. Forged from 7-gauge steel, the SZT Pro is built for the rigors of mowing. Plus, the operator platform may be flipped up to use the SZT Pro as a conventional walk-behind mower. Jacobsen, a Textron Co. Mean Green Stalker SK-48 stand-on mower The Stalker SK-48 is a next-generation, powerful, electric, stand-on mower from Mean Green Mowers. It has an extremely low center of gravity, hugging hills and steep inclines while still providing cutting heights up to 5 inches on its fully adjustable floating deck. This super-quiet mower is powered by Mean Green lithium energy modules that offer all-day mowing capability. With available horsepower exceeding most commercial gas mowers in its class and more than 322 foot-pounds of torque per drive wheel, the Stalker proves that cordless electric mowers can be powerful and extremely quiet. Specs include 8-mph speed, 24 hp., 48 volts, zero fuel or oil, and 3-blade mowing deck. Options include a rear-discharge mulching deck, LED floodlight, USB port and built-in QTX debris blower.
