Many enjoyed the San Antonio 34 • NOVEMBER 2012 • WORLD FENCE NEWS San Antonio hosts Texas Fence Association The Texas Fence Association held Riverwalk and socialized at local pubs, bars and restaurants. The TFA board meeting was held on Saturday morning and kicked off a day of business, member involvement, teaching and learning, backed by the American Fence Association. Jon Stiles, an American Fence As- sociation director, taught a class on many key areas for fence installations (before, during and after the project) as well as safety (per- sonal and private), and served as keynote speaker for the general meeting. He extensively noted the importance Jon Stiles of helping others in order to better the industry itself. "His enthusiasm for working in SECURE GATE SYSTEMS, INC. the fence industry was rewarding for those listening; it gave us a feeling that we should all excel in our business and as individuals as well," commented one member. Soon after the meeting, several members journeyed out to the La Can- tera Golf Club, which is located near Six Flags San Antonio northwest of the city. Others enjoyed downtown ac- tivities.
