The AED Foundation awarded The Distinguished Service Award to Dr. John Richman. This distinction is the highest recognition that The Founda- tion awards for exemplary service to The Foundation and the equipment indus- try. Dr. Richman is president of North Da- kota State College of Science (NDSCS) in Wahpeton, N. D., where both the General and CAT ThinkBIG equipment technology degree programs are AED Accredited. He recently completed a six-year term on The Foundation's Board of Directors, bringing a valuable academic perspective of equipment technology education to Foundation strategy and planning. Among many other contributions, Dr. Richman and NDSCS contributed much to the suc- cessful development and 2012 deploy- ment of AED Graduating Student Exit Assessments for AED Affiliated colleges. The AED Foundation sincerely thanks Dr. Richman for making a difference through his service and commitment.
