LOGBOOK Navistar, Cummins reach parts agreement Navistar and Cummins say they have reached a agreement" regarding the use of Cummins' selective catalytic reduction aftertreatment on Navistar's heavy-duty MaxxForce engines. As reported in August, the two engine manufacturers announced they had struck an agreement in which Navistar would use Cummins' technology and parts in its quest to move from an exhaust gas recirculation- only approach to an SCR aftertreatment-based system. Navistar has discontinued its 15-liter MaxxForce in favor of using Cummins ISX15 engines in its ProStar, PayStar and 9900 model International trucks. The ProStar will be available with the ISX15 starting in December, Navistar said, and the truck will be available with MaxxForce SHORT HAULS PARKING SPACES can be reserved at 74 TravelCenters of America locations, which includes some Petro facilities, via the new Reserve-It program, which will be in full effect by yearend.
