Weighing in at approximately 15,800 pounds, the RH1754-160 allows easy transportation from job to job and can be maneuvered and operated on small jobsites, inaccessible to larger machines. It processes tree limbs and brush, sawmill waste, dimensional lumber scraps and pallets. It also regrinds wood chips to a high-quality mulch. The unit is powered by a 4-cylinder, 160-horsepower Cummins QSB 4.5 diesel engine. The machine is tted with a 20- by 54-inch-diameter rotor, with 30 xed teeth. It features a 17- by 54-inch infeed opening and a rubber infeed belt. The unit comes standard equipped with remote controls, reversing fan and magnetic head pulley head. AUTO FEED SYSTEM Doskos 510-6-38KE brush chipper features a 38-horsepower Kohler engine and a 72-inch feed table. The 510-6-38KE boasts a 6-inch chipping capacity and comes standard with a 360-degree rotating chute to give users control over where chipped materials are dispensed. Like all of Doskos chippers, the 510-6-38KE features a slideback maintenance door, hinged ywheel hood and belt guard, and threaded, reversible knives. The 510-6-38KE features Auto-Feed Plus, a smart feed system that monitors the engine rpm to prevent clogging and engine overload. It works by having the infeed roller stop when the engine rpm drops below a preset value. When the engine regains speed, chipping resumes. CARBIDE TIPS Simplify material processing with PTHs teeth, which are available in different styles and sizes for grinders, mulchers, cutters and crushers. The teeth are drop forged, feature a hardened steel body and is tipped with carbide inserts. The teeth are compatible with most manufacturers and are available with a holder and a wedge.
