Maggie Stone said when Overdrive called to inform her she was one of three finalists in Overdrive's Most Beautiful contest. Likewise, finalists Libby Clayton and Tina Comer did their share of crying and hopping up and down when they got their calls. The three finalists will attend The Great American Trucking Show in Dallas Aug. 22-24, where they will receive makeovers, sign autographs and participate in a photo shoot with show trucks at Overdrive's Pride Opportunities to see the finalists at the Great American Trucking Show will include a live & Polish. The process began with 71 entrants. Online voters narrowed the field to 10 in April. In June, readers cast votes to help select the top three. Overdrive launched the contest to highlight women drivers who reflect beauty inside and out, and who represent the profession well. The finalists more than meet those criteria, yet they are by no means dainty creatures cruising in trucking's easy lane: One hauls logs, one hauls hogs, one pulls doubles.
