STOCK WATCH Prices quoted are from the close of business on March 10, 2011 hancy Pray joined National Monitoring Center early this year as director of sales, southern region. Pray is based in NMC’s Irving, Texas office. A 19-year industry veteran, Pray has experience in central station monitoring, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems. Pray previously worked for Brink’s Home Security, Monitronics and, most recently, UCC. He is a director of the North Texas Alarm Association. Security Systems News caught up with Chancy in February and asked him five questions. COMPANY (ticker) AlarmForce Ind. (AF.TO) Chancy Pray How did you get the name Chancy? I’m not really 100 percent sure. My mother says there was a little boy with the name “Chancy” who lived down the street from my grandmother while my mother was pregnant with me ... My father said it was a boy that my mother used to date. You have a twin brother. What’s your favorite thing about being a twin? When you’re an identical twin, you have the fun things like switching classes and one of you doing something that the other one wanted to do. As fraternal twins, we didn’t get to do any of that ... he was just another brother ... I have five brothers and one sister. Where did you grow up? I grew up in Mineral Wells, Texas ... famous for its mineral water, which at one time they thought was the fountain of youth ... I’m a part-time musician, so I play guitar and sing out there every once in a while at some of the local places. What kind of music do you play? Mostly Texas-style country, or what’s also called Red Dirt country ... I play an acoustic 12-string guitar and sing. Are you a cat person or a dog person? I much prefer the loyalty and the companionship that a dog offers versus the arrogance and inconsideration that a cat offers. —Tess Nacelewicz Periodicals Postage Rates paid at Yarmouth, ME and additional mailing office.
