The holiday season really
emphasizes giving as an art,

with our new OTR drivers to
see how giving has impacted
their lives.
What three things have others
done for you on the road that
caught you by surprise?
Naomi:
1. A very long time ago, I was eating
dinner all alone at a truckstop and

been paid. The restaurant was full; I
never found out who did it. But as I
left, I said "Thank you!" to whomever
bought my dinner.
2. When my hubby and I were dat-
ing, he called to make sure I hit my

truckstop for my birthday! It was re-
ally cool.
3. I was blind-side backing into a truck-
stop space recently, and a driver

same company I do.
Ben:
4. Had a driver help secure and tarp my
load.
5. ,QHHGHGDVKRZHUDQGGLGQ·WKDYH
one on my card (thought I did), but
another driver covered it.
6. I was unhooking a trailer and got to
talking to a driver; forgot to unhook
my glad hands and pigtail and ripped
them out. A driver had an extra set on
his truck and gave them to me.
Describe a recent 'random act of kindness'
you witnessed.
