Bar Car, the Bay Area's fi rst mo- bile bar, inverts the typical party setup by bringing the party to the people. Built into a retrofi tted 1965 Airstream trailer, the fully loaded mobile bar is the brainchild of entrepreneur Greg Medow. Designed by Nomad Airstream of Upstate New York, Bar Car fuses mid-century modern design for a retro chic look, according to the company. Interior design details include stainless steel cabinets throughout the brushed aluminum interior with cobalt blue accents, a mahogany bar, LED fl oor lighting to create soft, indirect light and dimmable overhead lights. The side opens up to reveal a full liquor bar of the customer's choosing with a self-serve beer tap pouring local brews and specialty cocktails. The basics include a sound system with an iPod plug-in, as well as cocktail tables, bar stools and umbrellas. A mahogany-outlined chalkboard features drink specials for each select event. For entertainment, Bar Car provides party games such as Ping Pong with 20 paddles to play "Berlin style" (which involves multiple players in a musical chairs-style, knock-out competition) and cornhole beanbag toss. Bar Car staff will teach these games to anyone unsure of the rules. Bar Car is available for private parties and events and can be customized. Pricing begins at $25 per person and a minimum of $1,000. For more information visit barcarsf.com. PRODUCTS UV Vodka has announced its latest fl avor: Ruby Red Grapefruit.
