PRODUCT ROUNDUP www.outdoorpowerequipment.com OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT JULY 2015 25 PRODUCTS EQUIPMENT FOCUS ECOLAWN'S NEW ECO 150 COMPOST SPREADER Ecolawn's new ECO 150 compost spreader takes compost topdressing to a whole new level of ease, maneuverability, and efficiency. Ecolawn's new-generation applicator is a self-propelled, forward- broadcast, compost spreader. At 34 inches wide, the ECO 150 is designed for tight places that other applicators find problematic, but it will also handle larger spaces with ease. Other impressive features are the new conveyor belt, which is 2 full inches wider; a 6.5-hp. Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine, which offers a 3-year warranty; convenient light weight (290 pounds); and ergonomically redesigned controls for ease and comfort while operating. This spreader boasts an all-new and improved polyurethane hopper (11.5 cubic foot/.333 cubic meter) designed to eliminate bridging. The ECO 150 compost spreader is available at a cost-effective price. Ecolawn Applicator ECOLAWN'S ECO 200 GOLF The ECO 200 Golf was specifically developed to topdress golf greens and tees. This self-propelled, dual-spinner topdresser features large turf tires that eliminate the potential for rutting, while its wide spread pattern lets operators get the job done quickly. The ECO 200 Golf will shorten downtime on greens, making clientele happier. From the front operator position, the operator is in complete control and will never drive over newly topdressed greens. The clever design of the divided hopper and the weight protector prevent this machine's conveyor belt from getting bogged down by the excessive weight encountered with sand topdressing. And with no hydraulics, the operator will never have to worry about leak damage. Low cost, efficient and effective, the ECO 200 Golf makes the operator, as well as the greens and tees look good. Ecolawn Applicator GRASSHOPPER AERA-VATOR Grasshopper's PTO-driven AERA-vator implement relieves compaction and aerates turf without prior irrigation, leaving no cores to clean up. Oscillating, forged-steel tines penetrate and fracture sand, as well as loosen hard, dry soils without slicing or cutting — preserving and encouraging root development. The AERA-vator provides effective aeration with minimal surface disruption, so turf is available for use immediately after treatment. Available in 40- and 60-inch models, the AERA-vator is ideal for any application: improving (low spot) drainage in turf areas that tend to pool; reducing the need for chemical applications through improved absorption; lift- ing and freshening beds without disturbing mulch; and preparing bare ground for seeding or sodding. The AERA-vator is compatible with Grasshopper Model 623T and any 700 or 900 Series power units. The Grasshopper Co. JOHN DEERE AERCORE 800 The smallest of John Deere's Aercore 800 is also the only walk-behind in the Aercore Aeration series. The depth gauge lets users select the depth they would like to reach, with settings up to 3.5 inches. It is 84 inches from the handlebar to the rear of the coring head, and aerates a width of 31.5 inches. These features allow for increased maneuverability, as well as consistent hole depth on un- dulating greens. The Aercore 800 has a turf-friendly design, from adjustable turf guard pressure to the hydraulic-free mechanical transmission.
