Under Glass at the Domes
Music
ONE OF MILWAUKEE'S most popular musical events, Music Under Glass at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservancy, 524 S. Layton Blvd. just south of I-94, concludes the current season of Thursday evening happenings March 22.
For the admission price of $6.50 for adults and $5 for youth, ages 6-17, visitors also can tour all three unique horticultural domes that have long been Milwaukee landmarks. Regardless of the weather, the final perform- ance this season will be a "Bee Happy" Beach Party March 22. Adding to the appeal have been spectacular light shows during concert breaks and after performances. Potawatomi Bingo Casino is the major sponsor for the Music Under Glass series. The March entertainment schedule: March 1: Twang Dragons, country and rock; March 8: Orpheus, Reggae & Ska; March 15: Paddygrass, Irish Bluegrass; March 22: Caribbean Eclipse Steel Drum Band, Caribbean (The "Be Happy" Beach Party, with the sand, music and fun of a beach vacation).
