www.cheersonline.com 10 • October 2015 PRODUCTS DRINK CULTURE Club W has unveiled a 2014 Cocomero Rosato from Italy. The product is a classic example of the region: bright, crisp, fruity and refreshing, ac- cording to the company. The suggested retail price is $16.99. Wild Ginger Brewing Company has launched Wild Ginger Alcoholic Ginger Beer. It leads with a subtle sweetness, the company says, before a spicy climax with no beer aftertaste. Wild Ginger Alcoholic Ginger Beer (4% ABV) is initially available in 12-oz. cans in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and North Florida, with national availability expected by year-end. A six-pack will retail for about $8.99 to $9.99. Buffalo Trace Distillery has un- veiled its 2015 Antique Collection: five limited-release whiskeys of various ages, recipes and proofs. The 2015 George T. Stagg weighs in at 138.2 proof. The Antique Collection's uncut, unfiltered, wheated bourbon is William Larue Weller. Thomas H. Handy is the uncut, unfiltered straight rye whiskey. The Eagle Rare 17 Year Old tastes of oak, tobacco, and dates, according to the company. The Sazerac Rye 18 Year Old is the last of its tank-aged batch. The whiskeys are available in limited quantities, for a suggested retail price of $80 per 750-ml. bottle. Booker's Bourbon has released the fourth batch in its 2015 collection: Batch 2015-04, also referred to as the "Oven Buster Batch." Oven Buster Batch is 127 proof, uncut and unfiltered, aged for 6 years, 5 months and 20 days. The suggested retail price of $59.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Its name references Annis Wickam Noe, wife of the late distiller Booker Noe, who almost busted her oven by unintentionally pouring a bottle of Booker's over a pork roast. Winemaker Reggie Hammond has unveiled Honeyvine, a wine white twist on the ancient honey drink mead. Honeyvine is a proprietary blend of premium California white wine, natural honey and orange blossom honey essence. The crisp wine is cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks. The suggested retail price is $14.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. The Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Co. has released Rhetoric 21-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Rhetoric is rereleased annually to explore the flavor characteristics imparted by each additional year the bourbon spends in wood. This year's expression is richer and more complex, the company says, with a fuller mouthfeel and slightly higher proof of 90.2 (45.1% ABV). Rhetoric 21-Year-Old will be available nationwide in allocated quantities, for a suggested retail price of $100 for a 750-ml. bottle. Speyburn has introduced its new Arranta Casks single malt scotch whisky. Speyburn Arranta Casks achieve a bold- er taste of Speyside, the company says, by using air-dried, first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks. This whisky is exclusive to the U.S. market, and available at a suggested retail price of $40 for a 750-ml. bottle.
