Photos by Brian Bourke Champs, silver edition A 'trick' of his own Through his work with H&O Truck & Trailer Repair in West Point, Miss., Israel Turner bought his 1979 Peterbilt 359 in 2007, having no desire to customize it. That changed when he started watching the TV series Trick My Truck. "It got me interested in building a show truck," Turner said. The truck was built to look like it just came out of the factory in 1979. Customs By Fuzz in Fulton, Miss., did the interior. Everything else was done at H&O. Turner worked on it for five years before competing at the Mid-America Trucking Show in 2012. He's been to some shows since, but didn't start placing until this year, when he won the Builders Class Best of Show at GATS.
