4 JHD 2016 JOIN HANDS DAY MAY 7, 2016 St. Mary Magdalene Court 117, Mantador, ND joined the Altar Society at their annual church dinner. Court 117 purchased ice cream and scooped sundaes for everyone gathered. Pictured below are JoAnne Jentz, Marietta Pellman, Krissandra Pohl, and Addison Pohl serving ice cream sundaes for Join Hands Day! St. Rita Court 622, Iowa City, IA (not pictured) joined with St. Wenceslaus' Altar and the Rosary Society of Iowa City. Together they played bingo at Lantern Park Nursing Home in Coralville. They also had prizes and refreshments. "Enjoyed by all!" said St. Rita President Patricia Harney. St. Mary Court 657, Fort Atkinson, IA (not pictured) worked with members of St. John's Parish and the American Legion and Auxiliary to clean St. John's cemetery, chapel, and sidewalks. They also placed American fl ags throughout the cemetery. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Court 883, Breda, IA joined with the Kuemper students and their families at Kuemper High School. Together they helped package food for project "Then Feed Just One." About 10 ladies from Breda worked from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.! St. Genevieve Court 1003 in Wahpeton, ND held a Birthday Bingo celebration at the Leach Home. They supplied prizes and helped residents with bingo; a fun treat was strawberry shortcake as the birthday cake! Everyone had an enjoyable afternoon. ST.
