Aug. 21: Family Winemakers will host its annual tasting of family-pro- duced and hard-to-find California wines at the Cruise Terminal, Pier 27, in San Francisco. Aug. 23-34: The UC Davis Wine Microbiology Workshop will explore the microscopic world at work when grapes become wine.
