The industry leaders came together to learn more about Kohler Engines and the company's wide variety of gas and diesel engines for rental equipment. Brian Melka, president of Kohler Engines, as well as Mark Johansen, the company's director of marketing, interacted with all attendees to help them understand the many benefi ts that Kohler-powered products can deliver to rental customers. John D. Hedges, director of sales and marketing for CPD and the chairman of the Kohler Rental Committee, was also an active participant and helped facilitate many of the educational sessions. Hedges felt the dialogue between the rental stores and Kohler was a mutually benefi cial experience. "It was fun to see the interaction between the rental stores and Kohler personnel," said Hedges. "This meeting had been a vision of ours for more than a year, and it really went well. I think both parties learned a lot and exchanged many ideas for future growth and continued success." In addition to the educational sessions and networking opportunities, guests were able to enjoy Kohler Co.'s gracious hospitality. The agenda for the event included massages at the Kohler Waters Spa, as well as a golf challenge at the nearby Kohler Swing Studio & Golf Shop.
