"The holidays are downtown Milwaukee's finest time to shine." Zeidler Union Square, located at West Michigan Street between Third and Fourth Streets, offers "Playful Penguins." A parade of penguins frolic as they skate, surf and play hockey. Another amazing sight here is the igloo castle spectacular. For $1 per person, the Jingle Bus (Coach USA bus) takes visitors on a 40-minute tour throughout downtown. A friendly Public Service Ambassador is on board to acquaint visitors with downtown attractions. See sites via Jingle Bus The Jingle Bus operates 6-9 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays through Dec. 30. The bus departs from The Shops of Grand Avenue, where the festival's new Warming House is located at the mall's Center Court, 275 W. Wisconsin Ave. Early arrival is recom- mended, with the last bus departing at 8:20 p.m. Waiting riders enjoy complimentary cocoa and cookies, the 18-piece animatronic symphony orches- tra of bears and new stores in the arcade. Discounted parking is available at The Shops of Grand Avenue attached parking structure with a Jingle Bus ticket validation. Also new this year, Milwaukee Downtown is contin- uing its Shop 2nd Saturdays program into winter. For the Dec. 8 edition, a free Holly Trolley service will be offered through Transit Express. Shoppers taking advantage of the service can park once and connect to downtown's retail districts. The trolley will have a five-stop route at the Shops of Grand Avenue, Old World 3rd Special Shop 2nd Saturday Boulevard, Wisconsin Avenue and Jefferson Street, Mason and Jefferson Streets, and Clybourn and Water Streets.
