SnowEx SuperMaxx Series spreaders SnowEx introduced its highest-capacity line of spreaders, the SuperMaxx series, which features enhanced performance and easy pre-wetting integration. The SuperMaxx series includes the 9300X, 9500X and 9800X, available with 3.3-, 4.3- and 6.0cubic-yard capacities, respectively. The spreaders offer a unique cab-forward design with up to 33 percent better payload distribution, resulting in improved safety and reduced stress on the carrying vehicle. Other new, exclusive SuperMaxx features include a patented wet/dry mixing chamber, low-profile spinner design, adjustable spinner cups and an innovative pendant-style controller. Furthermore, the hoppers are made from corrosion-resistant polyethylene and include a multi-angle design to promote a continuous flow of material to the auger feed system. Stihl MS 201 T The MS 201 T takes over as Stihl's top arborist saw. Designed for tree trimming professionals looking for fuel-efficient, reduced-emission equipment, the top-handle MS 201 T chain saw uses advanced engine technology to reduce engine emissions to a remarkable 70 percent less than the previous model. In addition, the MS 201 T delivers 20 percent better fuel economy, providing longer run times between refueling; and an improved filtration system allows for 30 percent longer operation between filter maintenance. The MS 201 T chain saw is designed with user comfort in mind, featuring improved ergonomics to reduce operator fatigue, including reduced vibration. The top-handle design provides good balance and is ideal for use in the confined conditions of "in the tree" work. Turfco reintroduces TurnAer XT5 Turfco revolutionized aeration with the patented and patent-pending TurnAer XT5 steerable and reversible aerator. Now with engine options, increased speed and a new weight system, the XT5 is more efficient and performs better on hills. The XT5 aerator is now available with an optional 1-gallon-tank Subaru engine or a Briggs & Stratton engine. With a new gear ratio system, the aeration speed is increased by 14 percent. More ground can be covered in less time without sacrificing quality or the ability to turn while aerating. The new weight system allows operators to adjust the weight in the back of the aerator, improving hill performance and control on hills. Operators can take advantage of the enhanced speed on hills, while still maintaining control. TurfEx RS7200 Spread-N-Spray TurfEx's new RS7200 Spread-N-Spray boasts high capacity, superior material application and high-performance handling. It is powered by a 200cc Honda GX200 engine with a 2:1 ratio gear reducer, and its heavy-duty transmission includes 2 forward gears, plus neutral and reverse. The unit comes with a hand-operated transmission disc brake, as well as a footcontrolled sulky band brake. The large-capacity hopper accommodates 150 pounds, or 3 cubic feet, of material, which can be spread up to 11 feet wide. Additionally, the balanced tank system holds 17 gallons of liquid and contains just 1 fill port for quick, convenient refilling. The sprayer is powered by a 2-gpm pump, and the low-pressure nozzles offer multiple spray patterns to apply liquid up to 11 feet wide. Wright mid-mount zero turn Wright Commercial Products introduced a new mid-mount zero-turning-radius mower, the ZTO (Zero Technology Optimized). The ZTO, with deck widths of 48, 52 and 61 inches has enhanced features from the ground up. The rear tires are low profile 23-inch x 10.5-inch and the front tires are 13-inch x 5-inch run flats. The transmissions are Z3400 series Hydro-Gear. An undercarriage cage protects the transmissions and their filters, and an exclusive transmission interlock is built into the controls, eliminating the need for a separate parking brake. The cutting speed is 10.5 mph with either the standard 31 hp. Kawasaki FX or optional Briggs & Stratton Commercial Turf (Cyclonic) engine, and the 15-gallon fuel tank improves productivity even more. B3C Ethanol Shield with Combustion Cool Technology B3C Fuel Solutions introduced an advanced multi-purpose fuel stabilizer. Ethanol Shield now has a triple antioxidant fuel preservative package along with Combustion Cool Technology (CCT). This new formulation also contains a thermal stabilizer that protects the fuel from heat that radiates form the engine and sunlight. By spring 2013 all Ethanol Shield products will include CCT, which reduces heat in the engine by reducing parasitic load at the top of the combustion chamber during combustion. Utilizing a heat imaging camera B3C has documented up to a 39-degree Fahrenheit reduction in temperature when using CCT. B3C Gasoline Tank Snake B3C Fuel Solutions introduced a new way to stabilize gasoline and ethanol blended fuel while removing bound and un-bound water naturally attracted by ethanol blended fuels. The Gasoline Tank Snake is designed with antioxidants to preserve the fuel and a proprietary blend of space age polymers and microporous material that absorb and break the water ethanol bond at the molecular level, virtually eliminating phase separation from occurring while reducing the corrosive effects of ethanol blended fuels. The Non-Toxic Gasoline Tank Snake has a built-in indicator that lets you know when it is time to be replaced. FormMobi app reinvents the clipboard Workflow technology pioneer a la mode, inc. released FormMobi, an application that allows professionals to replace old paper-based field data gathering activities with Cloud-based workflow solutions deployed to iOS and Android devices. FormMobi is available in Apple's App Store, the Android Market (Google Play) and the Amazon Appstore. FormMobi makes it simple to create and complete electronic forms. The application also offers an array of data-gathering features for users filling out custom or ready-made forms in the field. In addition to text input, users can record audio, select data from QuickLists, scan barcodes, make calculations, take photos, get GPS coordinates, collect client signatures, and more. FormMobi users have 2 sketching options — FormMobi's advanced CAD Sketch and Freehand Sketch. www.landscapeirrigation.com Landscape and Irrigation 15
