Sprinkler Times app Sprinkler Times is an easy-to-use, online program and app that calculates run times for sprinkler systems. This is not a smart timer, but a scheduling tool for the many conventional timers still out there. Start by entering a ZIP code to apply the 20 years of historical ET weather data for the precise location. Next, from a pictorial menu, select the plant type, sprinkler type, soil type, along with sun exposure, for each zone in the landscape. You also have the option of inserting a photo next to each zone for quick identification. Identical zones may be copied to save time. The user's account is accessible and interchangeable on all platforms: iPad, iPhone, Android, and online simultaneously. The entire program toggles between English or Spanish including comprehensive-yet-concise help videos. Sprinkler Times manages the run times and also provides a database for all controllers within a contractor's portfolio. A Sprinkler Times account will host an infinite number of timers, provide run time schedules for every month, and will also recommend the hydrozones into separate programs based upon the controller's specific capabilities as entered. Only download the free version App if you have pre-purchased the program online. Underhill's Magnum UltraMax Nozzles Underhill International introduced Magnum UltraMax, new heavy-duty, variable-flow hose-end nozzles for use on sports fields, parks, playgrounds and other public areas. Featuring robust construction, UltraMax nozzles are designed for infield conditioning and as a hand-watering tool for dry, patchy turf. The nozzles are also practical for stadium and playground wash-downs and equipment clean-ups. UltraMax is offered in 4 models with optional pistol or firefighter grips. The Full Throttle model features a single variable flow in either high volume (15 to 40 gpm) or low volume (12 to 19 gpm). It delivers a steady fog, jet stream or fan pattern. The Turbo Shift model has a dual variable flow that can be shifted from light coverage to a higher volume fog, jet stream or fan pattern. High-volume model offers 12 to 17 gpm and can be "turbo shifted" to 20 to 43 gpm. Low-volume model performs at 7 to 12 gpm and also turbo shifts to 14 to 17 gpm. Weathermatic SmartLink Virtual Flow Reporting Weathermatic's SmartLink Virtual Flow brings the key benefits of flow sensing to any property with no flow sensor required. This powerful combination of flow reporting with affordable web-based access is truly revolutionizing landscape water management. SmartLink Virtual Flow Reporting provides on-demand reports of water use along with on-site weather information from your Smart weather-based controller. This allows you to compare historical water use by zone along with temperature. Custom reports allow you to choose run time or water use across all your controllers on the site or by individual controller and zone. All this is available from any web-connected device, on your computer, tablet or smart phone. The SmartLink Network is saving property owners 20-60% in irrigation water through Smart, weather-based control along with remote reporting, alerts and visibility that allows for immediate response to over-watering issues. www.landscapeirrigation.com Landscape and Irrigation 23
