It can be for a Hearts and Hands benefit or to just benefit our treasury so that we can help out by small donations to various organizations. Each year we give at least two $300 scholarships to seniors in our area. We have given monies to families for gas when their loved ones needed to be transported out of town for medical reasons. Each year we give a donation to our Diocesan Association, which helps a student further their education as a Religious Educator. Three of our past benefits have been for individuals that were overwhelmed with medical bills. We helped out a family that lost their home to fire. We feel our efforts to help anyone out at this time is never in vain. Throughout our history it is very interesting to see how our past members, through their dedication, have inspired many of our present members through relationships or as a dear friend.
