"We need to make sure that we can get a product out there that is not going to be oxidized in three months, so we're still in the test process," he said. In addition to the bistro glass, Francis Ford Coppola Winery has other packaging tricks up its sleeve for 2013. "There are a couple of things coming down the line that will be launched later this year, but I can't disclose them yet," Beck said. ONGOING INNOVATION Next in the works for the winery is a new single-serve package in the shape of a wine glass. "We have a little bistro glass that we serve water out of at the winery, so it's kind of modeled after that," Beck said. "It's really cute." This package is an updated version of the "Wine by the Glass" PET trattoria cup released in 2008 in limited markets. The product was discontinued after about seven or eight months due to concerns about shelf life. "There are obviously some other people doing (the single-serve cup) now," Beck said, "but we started this research project a long time ago.
