PEOPLE Tonnellerie Mercier Appoints California Agent Nomacorc Hires Global Manager Nomacorc, the Zebulon, N.C.-based producer of alternative wine closures, has named Dean Banister global business development manager. Banister, a seasoned sales executive with more than 20 years of experience in the wine closure industry, was most recently at Diam Bouchage. He will be primarily responsible for expanding Nomacorc's business in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom. New Manager at Allen Wine Group Allen Wine Group LLP, a wine industry advisory firm in Calistoga, Calif., has appointed Zack Honeycutt as accounting manager. Honeycutt comes to the group from Moss Adams LLP, where he was a senior auditor working primarily with wine industry clients. Tonnellerie Mercier of Barbezieux, France, has appointed Tim Olson its exclusive California agent for barrel and tank sales. Olson's background includes 26 years of winemaking experience and four years in cooperage sales and marketing. He is currently a partner in Olson Ogden Wines in Santa Rosa. Olson will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for Mercier in California. Stucker to Lead Chase Beverage Chase has named banker John Stucker to lead its new Beverage Industry Group, serving mid-sized beverage manufacturers, distributors and retailers across the U.S. Based in Houston, Texas, Stucker will build a team of banking professionals to address the needs of beverage companies. He has been in banking for more than 17 years, and with JPMorgan Chase for the last 13 years. Watchorn's experience includes structural engineering and planning for wineries, commercial and residential projects. Summit also promoted Cody Anderson, LEED AP, to project manager in its Civil Division. He is experienced in hydrology and hydraulic calculations, site and utility design, storm water management and construction assistance. AgroThermal Hires Field Manager Tim Matson has joined AgroThermal Systems in Walnut Creek, Calif., as field manager. Matson, whose background is in irrigation and spray application, will be responsible for grower relations.
