FREDDIE, ARNIE AND JACK SIGHTED AT VICTORIA GOLF CLUB Cordova bay may be the only golf course in Canada to have on-site goats (appropriately named Freddie, Arnie and Jack). The image right is taken from Cordova's YouTube channel when earlier this year, the goats took centre stage for a day spa. Doug Walsh and Geoff Sutcliffe are hoping to have them entered into the Saanich Fair and invited the South Island 4H Goat Club over to give the boys a makeover. Interestingly, this is not the only barnyard animal-oriented story that has come out of Cordova Bay. The course used to have a pet rooster (that just appeared one day) that they named Gordie. When Gordie died, evidently under somewhat mysterious circumstance (but that's another story), more than 30 members and staff turned out for the funeral.
