6 We welcome Brian to his role as National Treasurer! Brian was born and raised on the southwest side of Chicago and now resides in La Grange Park with his lovely wife Andrea. Brian has a Bachelor of Business for Accountancy from Western Illinois University, and graduated from Bogan High School in Chicago. Brian brings 35+ years in the insurance and financial services industries to NCSF. Brian's previous work experience has been in leadership audit positions with several major insurance organizations – most recently as VP, Director Internal Audit for Old Republic International Corporation. Brian also has experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm and as a financial advisor with a leading financial services firm. Brian's professional credentials include CPA and Fellow of Life Management Institute (FLMI). Brian is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), and a former member of the Insurance Internal Audit Group, LOMA Audit and Internal Controls Committee, and the Illinois Insurance Companies Committee. Brian is a 25-year member of Saint Francis Xavier in La Grange. He has also been with the Divine Providence in Westchester and does ministry work at Hines VA Hospital. Brian was a past member of the St. Francis gallery choir as a vocalist and percussionist (15 years) and church greeter. Brian is an avid sports fan, golf enthusiast and enjoys playing drums with several musician friends. iNtrODuCiNG NeW treASurer Brian lawless, CPa THE 2ND TRIENNIAL SESSION, EXECUTIVE OFFICERS.
