Aber- feldy 16 presents a new version of this highland-style malt, the company reports, offering a taste more mature than the 12-year-old, and with a little less body than the 21-year- old. The suggested retail price is $90 per 750-ml. bottle. Craigellachie 17 is produced in old-fashioned worm tubs, adding extra fl avor, the company says, and a distinctive meaty character. The suggested retail price is $145 per 750-ml. bottle. 2 ANGEL'S ENVY CASK STRENGTH Louisville Distilling Company has announced a limited-edition release of this Portuguese port-fi nished cask strength. The expression is now available in select markets: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MI, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA, and Wash- ington, DC. Angel's Envy whiskey is aged up to seven years. A few of those barrels are selected, blended and then receive a lengthier fi nish in Portuguese port wine casks. Only 8,000 bottles were released. URL: www.angelsenvy.com 3 EZRA BROOKS BOURBON CREAM Luxco has announced a new look for the Ezra Brooks brand and the launch of Ezra Brooks Bourbon Cream. The bottle redesign includes a new corked bottle with a premium matte-fi nish closure capsule. Available seasonally in the fall and winter, Ezra Brooks Bourbon Cream has a buttery, caramel and toffee fl avor with a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg, the company says. This spirit is in- spired by distillers from the British Isles, blended with American traditions. Created using pot stills and a beer made from pale and peated malt, this American single malt spirit exudes peat, smoke, vanilla, caramel and oak, the company reports. Aged eight years in freshly spent Kentucky bourbon barrels. Distribution is across MA, RI, NY, NJ, SC, GA, and FL. $50 per 750-ml. bottle. www.thomastewrums.com 5 BOONDOCKS AMERICAN WHISKEY Royal Wine Corporation has launched this new brand in 95 Proof and Cask Strength 127 Proof. Aged for 11 years in American white oak barrel in Kentucky, the 95 Proof is made from corn, rye and malt. Cask Strength has aromas of rich caramel and vanilla, the company says. The 95 Proof retails for $39.99 per 750-ml. bottle, while the Cask Strength retails for $59.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Both are currently available in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, KY, MA, NV, NJ, NY and TX through Royal Wine Corporation. Released seasonally, Crater Lake Northwest Berry Vodka is a gluten-free spirit infused with a blend of berries sourced from small northwester U.S. farms. The suggested retail price is $25 per 750-ml. bottle. Black Butte Whiskey is a collaboration between Bendistillery and Deschutes Brewery. The whiskey has toffee overtones with a soft, slightly mineral fi nish, the company reports. The suggested retail price is $79.95 per 750-ml. bottle. 7 2014 CHATEAU ST. JEAN NORTH COAST CHARDONNAY Working with neighboring counties around Sonoma, Chateau St. Jean Winemaker Margo Van Staaveren had fl exibility in fruit sourcing to make a "rich, delicious and fruit forward Chardonnay," the company says.
