This 28-year-old charcoal-mellowed American whiskey originates from the George Dickel Distillery in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Like other whiskeys from Orphan Barrel, it will be highly allocated with no future releases planned. The whiskey is chilled and then charcoal mellowed with Tennessee sugar maple charcoal that is burned onsite, the company says. Whoop & Holler is 84 poof. SRP: $175 per 750-ml. bottle. URL: www.orphanbarrel.com 10 JEFFERSON'S RESERVE OLD RUM CASK FINISH Bourbon aged and fully matured in Kentucky was then fi nished in barrels that once held Gosling's Family Reserve Old Rum. The result is a bourbon with a deep caramel color and maple and banana fl avors, the company says, with a hint of spice from the rum that "helps balance out the overall fl avor profi le." URL: www.jeffersonsbourbon.com 11 TWO RANGE RED WINE Rutherford Wine Co., a family-owned wine company based in Napa Valley, has launched this a blend of petite sirah, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and Syrah. It's aged in French oak, and is 13.5% ABV. This full-bodied red blend pays homage to Napa Valley's location between the Vaca and Mayacamas mountain ranges, the company says. $25 per 750-ml. bottle. www.rutherfordwine.com 12 THE MACALLAN DOUBLE CASK The Macallan has introduced this 12-year-old to its core range in the U.S. The Macallan brings new oak from America to Spain, where the oak casks are crafted and Sherry-seasoned before traveling to the Macallan's distillery on Speyside to mature for at least twelve years. These whiskies are then united with those aged in exceptional Sherry-seasoned European oak casks. This whisky is 43% ABV. SRP: $65 per 750-ml. bottle. URL: www.themacallan.com 13 WYOMING WHISKEY OUTRYDER A new Straight American Whiskey. Outryder is Bottled in Bond and represents the company's fi rst use of rye, they report, along with corn and malted barley. All grains are non-GMO and grown in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming. Hints of orange blossom honey are on the palate, the company says, while the spicy rye fi nish has hints of buttery toffee. A total of 2,640 cases of Outryder are available for purchase through- out the U.S. SRP: $54.99 per 750-ml. bottle. URL: www.wyomingwhiskey.com 14 JIM BEAM DOUBLE OAK This Kentucky Straight Bourbon is fi nished in oak twice barreled to "create richer and woodier fl avors," the company says. Aged initially for four years while sitting in freshly charred, new American oak barrels, Jim Beam Double Oak is then transferred to newly charred American oak barrels and aged to taste.
