When I started Saw- tooth Fencing and Construction five years ago, I had to match the name to my license plates. Fortunately, the com- pany I worked for had changed/updated their name and no longer was using the same initials. People on the road can't figure this one out, but other fencers can!" The initials stand for, obviously, "CFP for Sawtooth Fence and Con- struction." Gaston Fence Company, Inc. Dallas, North Carolina this coming October DeckExpo, the only once-a-year national trade show, educational con- ference and networking opportunity, focusing exclusively on the deck, porch and railing industry, is sched- uled for Oct. 9–12, 2012 at the Balti- more Convention Center in Baltimore, Md. The conference will be held Oct. 9–12, while the exhibit hall will be open Oct. 10–12. DeckExpo attracts builders from all over the U.S., and even across the globe, who come to the event to see the latest technologies and newest products geared specifically to the special building requirements of decks, docks and porches. DeckExpo is now held side-by- side with the Remodeling Show. With deck-building and residential contractors taking on more variety in projects – both outside additions and replacement projects – pairing these two events was a natural fit for both exhibitors and attendees, said Hanley Wood, DeckExpo's sponsor since the firm purchased the event in 2006. All of the courses are instructed by industry experts to deliver high-qual- ity information in multiple education tracks such as business, sales, market- ing, and deck technical issues, the company added. Official sponsors of DeckExpo are the North American Deck & Railing Association (NADRA) and Profes- sional Deck Builder Magazine. For the most current show infor- mation, visit www.DeckExpo.com.
