by Therese Dunphy | Editor-in-Chief | tdunphy@randallreilly.com FIRST LOOK 16 AGGREGATES MANAGER / December 2016 This seven-model lineup focuses on owning and operating costs. C ase Construction Equipment introduced the all-new G Series wheel loaders, spanning seven new models. Industry editors got a first look at the machines during a two-day event at Case's Tomahawk Customer Cen- ter in Tomahawk, Wis. The introduction brings the entire product line to Tier 4 Final compliance featuring selective catalytic reduction (SCR) engine technology that increases fuel efficiency, keeps exhaust temperatures down, and eliminates regeneration or lifetime diesel particulate filter (DPF) costs/maintenance. An all-new operator environment, controls, and interface are said to make the G Series intuitive and easy-to-operate. Efficiencies in power/output, maintenance, and operator ergo- nomics/interaction – combined with Case ProCare – provide a low and predictable total cost of ownership/productivity across the entire product line. "Our product evolution has been anchored in practical and intuitive innovation," says Case CE Vice President, North Amer- ica Scott Harris, noting that new technologies are designed to meet one or two of these specific objectives: • To serve a specific need our customers have for their specific application, and • To help them run productive operations more effi- ciently. Case Rolls Out G Series Wheel Loaders With the introduction of the G series, the 1021 and 1121 wheel loaders have Tier 4 Final engines.
