"For more than 30 years, Mustang Motorcycle Products, LLC has worked hard to build its reputation for manufacturing the world's most comfortable motorcycle seats," Mustang director of sales Steve Veltri said in a press release. "Think of it as New England craftsmanship meets olde English styling as Mustang reaches out to Triumph riders with the simple message 'Discover what a difference comfort makes.'" Mustang's Classic Seat for the Bonneville variants, including the T100, Scrambler and Thruxton, updates period-correct styling with modern materials, Mustang reported. A Sport Touring seat is also available for those models, offering a slight ridge to keep the rider in place, with a plush pillion section for the passenger. "Both pilot and passenger should appreciate the traditional Tuck and Roll styling, while dealers will appreciate the fact that our seats fit Bonnevilles from 2001-13," Veltri said. "This makes it a great stocking item." Mustang has now made its seats available to fit Triumph Bonneville and Thunderbird models. A number of dealers rode into the Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties National Vendor Presentation in August in Madison, flooding the Monona Terrace parking ramp with bikes. Mustang has also made its DayTripper and Tripper Fastback to fit the 1,600cc Thunderbird cruisers, as well as a two-piece touring seat for those models. Each features Mustang's proprietary padding, which the company calls a perfect combination of open- and closed-cell foam. "Combine this material with Mustang's custom-tailored baseplates and you have a seat that looks and feels great," Veltri said. Each seat in Mustang's Triumph line includes an ergonomic shape that keeps riders firmly and comfortably seated, an expanded vinyl cover that stands up to the elements and controlled density foam to improve rider comfort. All of Mustang's seats are handcrafted in the U.S. PSB DRAG, PARTS CONTINUED FROM PAGE 25 up to learn and see new products. That's how we're going to keep the industry moving," Matchette said. With the inaugural Regional Showcase year behind them, Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties are already looking forward to improving the events for 2014. "I think our future showcases are going to be bigger and better and more successful than those [in 2013]; they were our training wheels," Matchette said. Though no showcases are scheduled far- ther west than Madison in 2014, in part because of the repetition of the King of Prussia Regional Showcase, Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties are already considering a variety of locations for 2015 and beyond. Places in the Northwest, Northeast, California and Texas are being explored, among others. The goal is to have visited nearly every region of the U.S. within the next several years. "We're trying to tie dealers in tighter with our company," Matchette said, "and that's really what our company is prided on, service more than anything. That's just one of the services that we want to bring to them and do better every time." PSB Remember when you could make a good buck selling ATV tires?
